Dispute & Refund Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
The reason to book through FÊTEEKO instead of chasing ten vendors is simple: if something goes wrong, it's our problem, not yours. Here's exactly what that means.
Our promise. Every vendor is vetted and backed by us. If a vetted vendor no-shows or fails to deliver the agreed service, we deploy a backup or otherwise make it right — at no extra cost to you. If we cannot deliver the core service you booked, you don't pay our service fee.
1. If a vendor fails to perform
We keep a backup vendor ready for every booking. If a vendor is a no-show, arrives unable to deliver, or falls short of the agreed scope, we step in immediately: deploy the backup, arrange a replacement, or provide a fair remedy. You deal only with FÊTEEKO throughout — you never have to chase a vendor.
2. How to raise a dispute
- Contact us as soon as possible — during or right after the event is best — at hello@feteeko.ng or on WhatsApp.
- We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and to resolve, or give you a clear plan, within 7 days.
- We'll review what was agreed against what was delivered, using our booking records, and put things right fairly.
3. Remedies
Depending on what happened, a fair remedy may include a replacement vendor, a partial or full refund of the affected portion, or a credit toward a future event. Where a failure is the vendor's fault, we withhold or reclaim that vendor's fee — you are not left carrying it.
4. Cancellations by you
If you cancel a confirmed booking:
- 14 or more days before the event — deposit refunded, less a reasonable administrative fee.
- 5 to 14 days before — deposit forfeited.
- Under 5 days before — deposit forfeited, and any vendor costs already committed on your behalf remain payable.
5. Changes & rescheduling
Tell us as early as you can. We'll always try to reschedule or adjust rather than cancel — subject to vendor availability and any costs already committed.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method (or by bank transfer) within a reasonable period, typically 5–10 business days after we confirm the outcome.
7. What's outside our control
We stand behind delivery, but we're not liable for events genuinely beyond our reasonable control (for example, extreme weather, unrest, or other force majeure). Even then, we'll do our best to reschedule or find a fair resolution.
